Woods Hole, MA- A Micro nautical shed/cabin/tiny house

Not sure what the purpose of this structure is, but I really liked the look and the locale, so I snapped a photo about two years back. Its most likely a mere shed for boating supplies for the nearby dock and marina (in a harbor with a few really cool houseboats, I might add!), but line-wise, it has the potential for a really cool, tiny home or vacation cabin design- sleeping loft and all. This shot is from Woods Hole, MA- the ferry launch town that leads to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.

The door is way too small for an small boat. the side walk is too close to fit a trailer into the ramp. The beam up there got no trolley just enough to clamp or rig a come along.
Maybe the ramp is to push in and out a roll away.

One thing, the place is totally awesome.
Great pix.

This is so homey looking, no matter what it is really used for. I like everything about it, including the color! Thanks for sharing it with us.

yeah, I assumed the beam is decorative- and by “boat house” I meant for storage of gear- there’s no way a boat would fit inside there. Sorry- shoulda been more specific. Have a great thanksgiving Ozzie!
