Always with the goofy jump shot…(some serious air though, c’mon!)

"Might as well JUMP!" The Boxy Lady Cabin photo shoot- at Madison CT's East River

Here’s a rough shot- of about 400(!) we took- in Madison, CT. This was our most recent roadtrip with “The Boxy Lady” micro-cabin/house/shelter/kiosk since the Make Magazine Maker Fair 2010. We’ll post some more NYC photos and videos soon too…as well as more of the “serious” shots that were taken.

Anyway, this was an “In n’ Out” trip/shoot that took (unloading the cabin and reloading) a mere three hours. Then it was back to MA.

We shot these pictures on request from Coastal Living Magazine, who were interested in featuring the antithesis of the MEGA-HUGE, MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR HOMES they usually showcase. Very cool and brave of them for supporting the tiny house movement. We can’t wait to see what they do with the shots.

These were taken by Bruce Bettis, Boston-area photographer extraordinaire- we has taken MANY still shots for our “Tiny Yellow House” youtube tv show as well. The guy is top notch- and you can waste MUCH of your bosses time by hitting up http://www.brucebettis.com He’s also super-easy to work with, and reasonable- so drop the man an email if you need something.

Bruce did some work for our upcoming VT Cabin (the one Dustin and I built) episode, and our Jay Shafer episode (Of The Tumbleweed Tiny House Company)- both of which still need small advertisers, so we can break even on equipment rentals. If you’re game- email me kidcedar@gmail.com– you’ll reach MANY thousands of people- forever….heck, check out our other “Tiny Yellow House” episodes on youtube.com- #1’s at 50,000 views now….
