As small as these rooms in The Jane Hotel in NYC are- they actually look pretty cozy! The hotel, back in the shipping/port days of NYC, was used primarily as lodging for sailors- who were used to, and desired small quarters to stay in.

As I just might head out to NYC soon for the Maker Faire- to exhibit my newest “Boxy Lady” Cabin (now on display in Scituate, MA)- I just may have to look into this place!

Speaking of which- t-minus 3 days away…. and its FREE, with a campfire on the bookstore’s lawn (weather pending)- and some live, pre-talk, music courtesy of guitarist Bill Bracken…

FREE- THIS THURSDAY, Aug 26th- 7pm- Scituate MA's Front Street Book Shop
