"Now THIS is a treefort- not one of those fancy-schmancy, uber-exclusive Millionaire treehouses (from davidsibley.com)"

Just the other day (two back) Make Magazine (who also run Make TV- a REALLY cool show on the Create Network (at least, in the Boston area), ran a blog feature on my ultra-small, portable cabin “THE HICKSHAW”- 14 square feet (its for sale too- read below).

You can check out the VIDEO/FILM/TOUR of the cabin, and Make’s write-up here….http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2010/03/introducing_the_hickshaw.html

AND- as I’m working on a few other things, and need to make some space in my “Sanford And Son” backyard, I’m offering the “Hickshaw” up for sale….so email me with any questions/offers, as I’m not yet sure what to ask (it took a TON of time to build, and is the original prototype for others I’ll eventually build).

ALSO, thanks to those who have supported my d.i.y. efforts with my book (shown in the righthand column) “Humble Homes, Simple Shacks, Cozy Cottages, Ramshackle Retreats, Funky Forts (And Whatever The Heck Else We Could Squeeze In Here!”)- https://relaxshax.wordpress.com/2010/01/14/the-books-finally-here-gary-larson-meets-bob-vila-housingfortsmall-houseshack-book/ . The hand-sketched 101 page book has gotten coverage and awesome reviews from David and Jeanie Stiles, Lloyd Kahn, Mimi Zeiger, Michael Janzen, Kent Griswold, Katherine Sharpe, The National Small House Society. Readymade Magazine, Mikecann.org, and a TON more. THANK YOU all so much!

And again- episode two of “Tiny Yellow House” shoots March 27th- and then Episodes three and four in mid-april. We do need some small scale sponsors to affordably back us (to help cover costs, in return for visual and vocal plugs in the newer episodes)- so email me at kidcedar@gmail.com (Episode #1 has averaged 600+ views each day since it launched last week)= so you would be heard/seen by a very decent (and continual) amount of people.
